I think we call these kinds of people "dependants" they're people who can't be responsible for themselves so you gotta do everything for them which can be draining, but hey tax write offs.

You’re right. And as much as it is their own fault, it’s not uncommon and they are just blindly hopeful. We should want to protect people like that.
We want it to be hard to mess up and lose everything.
