You either die the hero or live long enough to become the villain.
Copying dark patters to win is easy, resisting the temptation to do it is difficult.
I don’t even think push notifications are a dark pattern. Pushing bullshit unrelated to you is dark though.

we need extremely addictive apps as well. witt Nostr, users always can quit those and go to healthier ones and keep there networking connections. They don't have that optional now
