I never said hyperinflation is near or that the US will switch to Bitcoin.
My point is that the US is in debt spiral already, which leads to more deficit spending and more QE. #Bitcoin protects you against this kind of devaluation.

Yes, but it's a long game.
It's comparable to the decline of the Yen or the Sterling, both of which are still around and still useful currencies.
