Cities start to feel like such a trap. The few that 'succeed' (aka get to keep living there), and the millions that try and fail. A revolving door of opportunity and loss based on physical proximity to a resource. The base cost to participate is always dialed to the maximum by those that succeeded first. Increasing the odds for failure for those that have just arrived.

Which leads to the question? Why arrive at all?

The only answer to this is: Hope that it is better than where I came from.
