We need like a consumer reports (but more open - maybe on nostr) style repository of AI enabled products that do creepy stuff. People can check IsItDystopian.com or something before buying.
Maybe also report any shady businesses and business practices too.

I have been using AI for this more or less.
It’s great at going through privacy policies and explaining what is important or asking questions about it. Or ask it to compare a range of services and rank them based on their privacy practices.
But the short answer to IsItDystopian is always YES it seems.
Still, I think a presence of such a source and hopefully eventual popularity in usage might put pressure on brands to not act in dystopian ways.
