Maybe I didn't explain myself. It isn't about them being connected, its about having them in my list at all.

I have a list of relays and some are connected and some aren't. That's fine and I expect that. But after I've paid for a bunch of relays, and added them to my list, they shouldn't disappear from the list, whether I have a connection at any particular moment or not.

I got that. But your list of relays is AFAIK also stored on the relays, so when connectivity isn't good, those may not get properly stored.

Not sure how the whole thing is booted though, ie client needs at least one initial rely to read all relay entries.

Ah! That's an interesting thought I hadn't considered. 🤔

That's what it was!

I added 2 other relays that I recognized from the recommended list, and my list exploded from 7 to 35!

Thanks, I wasn't registering how that worked. I had assumed that my relay list was kept specifically in the client I was using. (ie. on Iris if I entered it, then as long as I logged back in on Iris, I would be delivered the relay list)

That's really interesting. I wonder how I can broadcast the list better to be sure that most of my relays have my whole list 🤔
