Primal users can see non heart emoji's of others in their notifications, but can only react with a red heart emoji
I checked a VIRAL post of mine yesterday on Damus and then on primal. 11 reactions here, with two red hearts. Primal shows just two hearts. Does their trending algo miss the other ones too? I had this one vhs of some 80s anime as a kid, they flew like... space F14s that I think transformed or something. It was super cool and there were space aircraft carriers or something. Yep. It’s literally a single line of code and would cost them nothing to count all reactions. For some reason seems they want to create a silo 🤷🏻♂️ Probably added 🤙 just so it is not that obvious. It sucks for memes because most reactions are non-standard 🙃

I've seen plenty of complaining about primal in past, but never understood enough about relay details to know if it was "hater" behavior or more well founded. But reactions, that I understand. Saw your clip of the seemingly unwarranted shooting. Too soon for me to judge, but it obviously appears unjustified from what I saw. I learned my lesson with George Floyd to let the dust settle a bit before getting riled up.
Just saw a breakdown of scene with gun being taken off the dude. Replying here cuz I don't wanna get into it with a crowd, but it seems like the guy might have been fighting to reach his gun, no? And while the removal of weapon took place a split second before shot was fired at him, it's conceivable the shooter didn't see it.
Slightly annoyed with myself for even feeling need to comment, or "race to form correct opinion" (something I criticized earlier this morning)...
