"Empowering people" is such a bullshit phrase, and it's not something Satoshi intended to do because he wasn't an ideologue. He was a builder.

He simply wanted to give people direct control over their money by eliminating the need for intermediaries. He succeeded by solving the double-spending problem.

Unfortunately, he wasn't able to solve the problem of double standards. You indirectly criticize statists for their adherence to flags, which is right, but you yourself are adhering to another set of flags. Same shit.

There's nothing wrong with Bitcoin, the people involved with it, or the perception of it. The problem is just misguided, myopic pseudo-morality, but I fear Bitcoin won’t fix that in the short term.

Bitcoin won't fix what's wrong with people anytime soon. Only psychotherapy and mental health could do that. Instead wars are started to keep empires from falling and billonaires happy, while hate and trauma and further violence cripple humanity.

Human suffering is not the result of a few individuals or power-hungry "empires," but rather a collective effort. No one is innocent, and no one is guilty. Bitcoin will improve the human condition, but it will never eliminate violence because it's an inseparable part of existence.
