Man, '87 and '88 are my baseball nostalgia years. I was just looking at the Topps Tiffany sets last night. Those things seem to be more popular lately for some reason. I saw pretty high sale prices on ebay for singles.
Tiffany did have more limited printings. Plus a lot of folks who were 80s kids are now adults with coin :)
Yeah, that'd be me now. My son just started getting interested in baseball, so I bought a few cards from my glory days and some of the players he likes from recent years.
I grabbed these last year and they were kind of being ignored. Bo and Bonds were cheap at a 9. Ryan wasn't really a hot card, but I watched him pitch back then at the Astros games before he left. Caminiti I met and spent a little time around before he got eaten by his demons.
The Tiffany cards are just so...pretty.
