Not every pool in the future will be ofac compliant. Hash wars are coming. Doesn’t mean another OFAC free pool won’t pick it up Bitcoin is and will still be censorship resistant as long as all pools and miners aren’t enforcing OFAC

As long as there’s 1 group mining OFAC free then a transaction can eventually be picked up

A censored party can increase their fee to incentivize miners to pick up the TX. This increased fee pressure incentivizes more mining to come online. This hash pressure punishes censoring miners.

It’s a beautiful thing. The cost of censorship is profitability.

And fees will be higher for non OFAC transactions, incentivizing miners to leave OFAC pools and giving them more resources to buy hardware.

Like you said, there will always be someone who is willing to do it OFAC free.
