Narcissistic relationships are overwhelming, and that’s the point. In the beginning it’s love bombing and then they begin sprinkling abuse in. This balance continues to change until it’s mostly abuse with a little breadcrumbing to keep you hopeful.

We stay and hope we can get back the way it was. The problem is that was an illusion created to suck you into the relationship and keep you.
