I’ve contemplated this topic a lot. I think that once we are on a full Bitcoin standard, socialism becomes irrelevant. The only reason it has flourished over the years is because certain group of society feel that they are being unjustly taken advantage of (which is true).
Once everyone in society benefits from true free market capitalism; and everyone’s life becomes better each year (including the lazy and poor) — it should slowly fade.
there will always be socialists. these are the people who think it is ok to use the government to steal from other people.
Maybe. I genuinely don’t know.
I tend to believe that as long as everyone’s standard of living improves year on year; then those who gravitate towards socialism might not feel the same level of remorse towards those who have more than them- as they do today.
I’m talking150+ years out at a minimum though. During the transition the commies will absolutely try to steal from wealthy Bitcoiners.
