You’re missing the point. Those services (really just one since Primal uses Strike) require KYC and aren’t available everywhere. They don’t offer any degree of privacy, and they have geographical restrictions, and they require registration in advance to receive them, unlike ecash tokens, which are just a blob of text that can be sent anywhere.

I don’t think of ecash as “fake” sats. They’re a claim on sats held by a mint, which allows the user time to learn how to receive them.
