So you said you like nostr.band?

Seriously though, I think search is a problem that will inevitably result in winner-take-all solution. Event if we built a winning 'decentralized' search engine w/o a single corporation to control it, it would still be a single algo that everyone uses.

The only thing that makes me less sad about it would be that we have LN now, and the winners might have a non-ads based business model, which would in theory work better for the world.

But that's all long-term, and meanwhile we might have many years of more diversity and fun.

Find it is the best way to share posts externally too, like showing Lyn’s rant got 600k Sats to the muppets on Twitter who are now moving to Substack instead.

Would be nice if I could nostrconnect: to nostr.band. It’s where I go to self-reference older posts via search, you could simplify that workflow for me as a Damus user by letting me easily login and search my notes there.

That’s usually how I remember other notes, in the context of how I responded to them. So I would search what I responded to Lyn to easily find her thread to share.

Some graphics / colours on the Zaps / Replies / Reposts / Likes would be really useful too! I orange highlighted her zapped Sats in my share, I reckon it’s worth taking up more screen realestate and attention with these figures to draw attention so when it’s screenshotted and shared elsewhere they see what’s happening on nostr.
