I think my overall favorite books we read were the Alice books. Chapters were short and filled with riddles.

HHGTTG books were entertaining, particularly with the varied characters and zanny references. Like throw your expectations of the Universe out the window.

The Hobbit was nostalgic, and with its own special world and statements to reflect on.
