I don’t think they are transferable yet. But in a sense badges are a visual history of your profile and can give you an idea of what a person / profile is all about

But what does it say about a profile if one chooses not to accept any badges?

Yes, I agree to each their own, but in your previous note you said that you could assess a persons profile by looking at their badges. Look at their history etc., wouldn’t that imply that you are valuing against something?
I think if people want to have at it, collect badges etc., then have at it but I just don’t how it could accurately display the value of someone’s content?
