I’m honestly having a lot of trouble differentiating real life from AI hallucinations anymore. Are any of these folks even real? Is anyone else feeling this?

Anyway, I thought this story would be popular on Nostr.

My take on crypto remains the same: Crypto is cool. Lightsabers are cool. None of it will fix society’s moral issues. These are just tools. Tools for a more civilised society.

For those thinking of "hodling" until they can afford an army, guns, food, etc., so they can be the only ones with enough "real" resources to survive once the system collapses (or maybe to be the only people who can afford a BTC-fuelled sovereign rocket ship to Mars) … Congratulations: This is exactly the same dumb cultist thinking that the "fiat" elite always had (and still has). It won’t work. No one escapes a hangry mob fighting for survival.

Crypto can certainly be used as a tool for good: for charity, for financial freedom across borders, for stimulating small businesses, for rewarding doers in general. But it won’t fix society’s problems, and it won’t protect "hodlers" when push comes to shove. Use tools to do good, and good things will happen. Thinking that the tool itself is inherently good or bad is lazy wishful thinking. "Hodling" BTC won’t fix the world; your choices ultimately will.

Yes!👍

If something looks to good/retarded to be true, it's probably generated.

I’m not sure if I trust myself to know what’s too good (or too dumb) to be true. Maybe I’m just tired and cranky, but lately a lot of things feel unreal. Watch the video above. Now watch this one:

Which one feels more real? The OnlyFans crypto investor “Adult ToyStore” girl getting mugged, or this one? If you ask me, System of a Down singing La Isla Bonita feels more real.

Tend to agree

Hey we working on an solution approach, it won’t solve the problem but can be a part in an open source decentralized trust system, ethical approaches inspired by cypherpunks, open source, decentralized, privacy first. Check ledg.it.com we will publish full whitepaper and public benchmark in the next two months, we are already in talks with for example unesco

Looks interesting! I'll keep an eye on it. Thanks for sharing
