I’m open to suggestions. My dream was about a family member’s death and the grief in the dream was suffocating. I sent them a message for them to read in the morning. Telling them I had a bad dream and that I love them. I’m listening to calming music.

Are you feeling like you’re not present in the moment? It sounds like you are anxious which means you’re preoccupied about the future, lines up with the dream. Try 5-4-3-2-1. Name 5 things you can see. Then 4 things you can hear. Then 3 things you can touch. Then 2 things you can smell. One thing you can taste. This should bring you back to the moment.
