You know if McDonald’s stopped using seed oils in their mayo and returned to tallow fries I don’t think it would be all that bad. Burgers are an American. Tradition we can’t all be strict Carnivors
I know a&w, Burger King and some MCDonalds offer a "Lettuce Wrap" or bun free option.
I think having tallow fries would be a tall order for fast food restaurants. Canola oil is cheap.
I agree it’s cheap and wil always be cheaper than tallow but part of me believes most tallow is being wasted or recycled into animal feed and if it came back into mainstream vogue the price would come down. We kill and eat a lot of cows there’s got to be plenty of unrendered fat out there to use.
