Does anyone on here run a food service business out of their house?

Curious if it makes sense to build a 2nd kitchen in the room next to your house or try to to start a ghost kitchen.

I did for a long time. That's what my baklava business was. I also did personal chef work for a while.

I didn't need a second kitchen, but I had a $3500 propane convection oven that I bought for $600 from a restaurant going out of business. I miss that baby!

It was a small place. This was back in my New Hampshire days. My roommate/friend was also my business partner for our food stand at PorcFest.

My sisters place is pretty small. I’m worried she’s gonna waste money making a 2nd kitchen when she doesn’t even have any other clients beside me yet.
