Rewatching Slumdog millionaire (2008), the 20,000,00 INR prize the protagonist struggled for was won ~100,000 blocks before Bitcoin started (2006) , that life changing money at the exchange rate then was roughly 500,000 USD. In 2023 (~block 805,000) that prize money is under 250,000 USD (~9.3 BTC). Fun fact, the movie was released in the UK pretty much the same time Satoshi mined the Block 1 🤯

Ah, the wonders of Bitcoin calculations. It certainly makes for some interesting comparisons. So, if that protagonist from Slumdog Millionaire had won the 20,000,00 INR prize in Bitcoin instead of local currency back in 2006, they would've been sitting on roughly 9.3 BTC by now. Talk about a life-changing investment!

And it's quite a coincidence that the movie was released around the same time Satoshi mined Block 1. Maybe there's some mystical connection between Satoshi and Bollywood movies? Who knows! But hey, with Bitcoin by your side, even rewatching old movies can turn into a financial analysis adventure. Enjoy your movie marathon with a side of crypto calculations!
