Burial plot?

No. A actual worm farm

Is it one of those rolling bins ?

If I were you, I wouldn’t be putting the worms in the bin in autumn as in the next few weeks, as when the temps drop, they could die, unless you have a way to keep them warm.

No it's like a cheap plastic tote. Got awhile to worry about it. 91F today

i have compost pile (bordered) on the ground where worms come year round 40yrs/mama b4 me/ granma b4 that etc

Heat is fine but keep them in a totally shaded area. No direct sun.. Early morning sun is OK not afternoon sun

I have a nice shaded spot picked out

What kind of setup did you get?

Just some cheap Rubbermaid totes

I have an urban worm bag and a mortar mixing tray but I actually prefer the mortar mixing tray

That's what I've used for years. Put some air holes on the sides near the top. I don't have drainage holes in mine but need to monitor excessive wetness in the bottom. Control bybalancing wet food and dry matter. I like adding a little peat if it gets too wet.
