Can I just use regular old fishing worms? #asknostr
Discussion
If those fishing worms are red wigglers or night crawlers then yes
Not all worms are composting worms
Fishing worms are likely nightcrawlers. I hear they can work but not great. They are not a social as red wiggler types and therefore are less profilic in the bins
Colonial rather than social, although I'm sure there is something to be said about the social lives of worms
Nope. Youll want composting worms as others have said but ill add Almost everyone who first starts using one of those bins drowns their first batch of worms. Be careful that your compost is similar to the garden and doesnt look like a wet mess or it wont work.
If its mudd they die.
I had one years ago and I gave up because a heap in the yard is just so much better.
Just my few sats
