The tenants you can infer from it and so simple and impactful

Marcus Aurelius, Seneca, Epictetus, Sun Tzu, Confucius ... almost all modern self help books are using those classics in some way or another. Mixing them, emphasizing one aspect, etc. very few are bringing real new toughts.

New movies are shit as well

Truth. I watch only old movies nowadays. Can’t I unsee all the propaganda in the new ones, makes them impossible for me to get through.

I mean no old books or libraries were ever burned, right?!? We still have the whole catalogue, and publishers who had the means of production and distribution have always been full of integrity and good intentions. Right!?!?

Some lies can last centuries, especially when printed in a book.
