It’s an interesting thought experiment. Many people are already more comfortable engaging with the dopamine algorithms of social media than with real people. If those experiences become more realistic and complex, it certainly makes you wonder about human socialization…

The two films that come to mind are Blade Runner 2049, with the protagonist’s “girlfriend”, and Wall-E, where people talk to each other through video screens and never turn their heads sideways 🙈
