Where can I find the setting to connect another wallet to primal? Is it supposed to be under settings/wallet?

Make sure you are on the latest iOS build, then go to settings/wallet and you will see the "Use Primal Wallet" toggle at the top. If you switch that off, you will get the option to connect to an external wallet via NWC.
