When you get a message from your bank saying the account is blocked because a wrong sms code was entered... Then you are blocked from your online banking system with the same issue... Then it takes over 20 minutes to talk to someone who then needed to transfer me so I wait another 20 minutes and then the OG guy comes back on the phone because the other guy is on a long call... Then he tells me the other guy is going to sort my access based on my voice recording. And oh, 'you need to update your residency information. If you don't your account will be frozen soon'... 🙄

And for now, I still can't access my online banking... 🤦‍♀️

It makes me certain about living more on Bitcoin and less on Fiat. 💯

Thank goodness for Bitcoin. 💸

I hope so. The only limitation right now is when I have to make those backwards moves into Fiat for the few things here and there that I haven't managed to find ways to pay with #bitcoin. It'll get there, I'm sure! 💯

I went to a bank the other day for a notary appointment. I felt like I was in a 3rd world. Everything is so slow, the people that work there don't give a fuck, and the systems are so antiquated. It takes forever to do anything.

We have previously been told if we don't provide similar info we could have our accounts closed. Will DM you. Are they using voice recognition (if so did you consent to that?) or just the recording of the info you provided in your previous conversation?

I think they do use voice recognition which is pretty scary given what AI can do these days. It is entirely possible and likely I gave consent but way back (probably like near 10 years ago or something ridiculous like this). Something I will bring up with the bank soon. 🤦‍♀️
