I got a supposedly unlocked pixel 9, started down the install path, but when I put it in fast boot it says "locked". I need a good simple video to guide me. any suggestions?

Not unlocked.
Have to get the unlock code from whichever carrier it was locked to.
Or make sure you followed the directions to unlock fastboot.
