in the u.s. south, it's tradition to eat black-eyed peas and collard greens on new year's day. black-eyed peas symbolize coins and collard greens symbolize paper money.

my Wife asked me a question and i figured i would #asknostr

what food could be eaten to symbolize #bitcoin ? has this been discussed yet? nostr:npub17uuqcy0k5sx8dqwjvc00vqdexpvez9qmd06944c9shd9e4w8th6q8dv6qx, have you thought about this..?

Oooohhh this is a great idea!!

Idk but never forget Kamala Harris said she washed collard greens in the bathtub to blackify herself. 🤢 🤮

Imagine her remains in your greens.

So whatever you do for Bitcoin food, don't wash it in Kamala Harris bathtub.

I think something with lasers.

Maybe some sushi 🍥 🍣 shop can get you some satoshis. With red chopsticks 🥢

(there's an emoji for red chopsticks 🤯🤦)

WITH GREEN WASABI!

I suppose it would depend on what the tradition is based on. If the ideologies align, just switch out fiat for bitcoin, no need to change anything.

Otherwise you would have to think of something for the thousand shitcoins going around as well. 😅

Seed oils and processed food represent shitcoins.

I think about this all the time 😂😂 here’s what I’ve come up with so far.

Beef- because bitcoin is the money of enemies

Limes - because they’re unassuming but incredibly nutrient dense and they work with just about everything. (like miners)

Potatoes - they’re hardy, multifunctional, and the broth settles an upset stomach… (like a node)

… so basically beef stew for #bitcoin

maybe something electric but idk any electric type foods irl

Pineapple or coconut

Ima go with this

i do like a little pizza with my pineapple :3

Enjoy your pizza. I think it’s gross the way the majority see pizza here. This is a hill I’ll die on.

what's your favorite pizza?
