Yes, sure, democracy is far from ideal, but IMHO is the best pile of shit that we currently have.
Tell me, what would be the alternative?

This is why you will not be part of the solution.
That seems quite... Hmmmm... Dunno, off putting?
If asking a larger quorum for ideas is excluding my self of the solution I really think that:
a) There is no solution
b) There is a solution but it's "enlightened only" (what mean that, There is no solution)
c) There is a solution but the persons advocating for this solution don't care to share... (What again, means that... There is no solution).
🤷‍♂️

The solution is to abolish the State, and replace it with enterprise (private or potentially "public") that would serve a SINGLE function: which is EXCLUSIVESLY the collective enforcement of Justice defined by Natural Law.
Yes, the Ancap solution... My question is, how do you ensure that it will happen and will stay in place?
How do you avoid less bright masses to just overrun this enterprise and replace it by a tiranny?
I'm not talking about educated individuals... I'm talking about the good'ol assholes that surround our society.
How do you keep them at bay?
It is similar to Bitcoin. There are no promises or assurances. The system is not based on trust, rather, on voluntary participation. Just like bitcoin. We see that it is more profitable to interact with and use the protocol in consensus than to attack it.
Similarly I imagine, the "True Republic" or Kingdom of Heaven, will present terms and incentives that ensure and strengthen its continued existence. Keep in mind, there is no requirement that this "True Republic" must have strictly defined territories or borders- beyond what each individual defines as their private property under natural law.
This is a logical fallacy - pointing out shortcommings of X does not require one to present an alternative, "better" solution.
"Best" for whom? This system is not voluntary and does not offer representation of the electorate. It's just a santa klaus story for grown ups on one side and a highly competative forum for power-hungry parasites on the other.
Tyranny by legislature is still tyranny.
it present change as impossible to prevent change. it’s advocation with plausible deniability.
Please articulate what makes democracy “better”. I’ll wait.
The illusion of choice and control is comforting to the masses
It appears to me that the only form of governance that has incentives aligned toward goals and outcomes that extend beyond a four year timeframe and into the lives of subsequent heirs (as opposed to rampant looting before handing over leadership to the next fake figurehead) is monarchy. But, given that most taxation is currently done electronically at-source, eliminating any possibility of individual protest or refusal of the individual wishes to participate in the employment market, all forms of governance are now subject to the same sickening overreach. The only answer that I think works for the People is anarchy and agorism practiced by a well armed populace that holds non state-controlled money like Bitcoin.
