I just want to say the Canadian government censoring news is completely over exaggerated. The pages I have seen censored seem to be on Meta platforms like instagram and Facebook.

On nostr and x I can see all the news in my area and follow El Salvador government content.

Also you can just use a VPN to by pass it.

Point of the story is yes Canadian government has gone full totalitarian but they are doing a terrible job at trying censor the news on the other side of the spectrum and globally.

I expect much high quality surveillance and digital censorship from government that steal 50% of my income. 😂

These clowns really aint shit. Nothing they do ever works. We are so much better off in this struggle with the control freaks than most realize. Only thing in our way is ourselves.

All they have to do is prevent the content they don't want from finding its way to the npcs who won't go looking for it. They don't need to silence us, just make us look "fringe".

Fair enough those NPCs who only use Facebook, and instagram probably dont use google search to find alternative news.
