That's a nice list, thanks for sharing!

I've tried robosats, bisq and some others.

I'm not keen on bank transfers because there's the potential to be flagged and debanked if I pay someone on some blacklist for sats. And I haven't had luck trading Amazon vouchers...

BTC > Monero > BTC looks like it would work but it shows intent of obfuscation much like mixing. This is fine but it's another red flag for surveillance systems.

Business and non-KYC colocation mining seem like some of the best options. You're not showing intent to obfuscate and at the same time maintaining privacy about how many sats you have, and how they're spent moving forward.

If you swap Bitcoin/Monero p2p, using something like Bisq, Robosats, or Retoswap, outside observers wouldn't even know a swap happened

In that case it would be way better than coinjoining to go btc>monero>btc πŸ€”

Just remember not to go back to the BTC side all at once. Break up the amount, do it at different times, and don't consolidate after.

Bisq it to monero

maybe churn one time,

then buy on Robosats and withdraw to Zeus wlthrough lnproxy

then swap to on chain?

That sounds like an even better plan to me.

It would probably be a good idea to do a few churns at random times (nostr:npub1z9jlmcccm6elulsuz5ymt6257s3vx0fqmvwgfpdw8r9tr6p7fmzsjuw0vx churning = sending to yourself) before going back to BTC. I always forget to say that part.

there are good and bad ways to churn though right?

2 txos -> 2 outputs is probably best...?

embarrassed to say I've never done a statistical analysis of what's most common

Also embarrased to say I don't remember and should know this especially since I've listened to 3 or 4 podcasts on this exact topic in the last month πŸ˜‚

I think you're correct though. It's either that or 1 -> 2

I don't know enough about monero...

Would you recommend any podcasts?

Monero has 2 output minimum, there is a dummy output if there is no change. You don't need two inputs, the less the better.

Oh riiight. forgot about that.

why would 1 input be better? arent most txs probably combinations?

or are you talking about common input heuristics?

Fortunately churning will no longer be a thing once FCMP is deployed πŸŽ‰

coming soonβ„’

Fuck I just love Monero! It just works so smooth, secret and privately. Its like electronic cash but even better.

If you buy bitcoin kyc and then swap to monero it doesn't negate the fact that you bought KYC. If the person who now has your coins then does crime you are linked to it.

100 %

Seems nothing beats mining for purity and non-kyc
