No, this actually happened and now they’re trying to hire everyone back on a weekend but can’t reach them because their email accounts were shut off with no notice.

That article cites NBC who claims to have a copy of an e-mail.
NBC also claims that the only way the government has to contact some of these employees is through their work e-mail, which was disabled. These are employees responsible for our nuclear stockpile, and the government does not have their personal e-mails, phone numbers or home addresses. Either this is bullshit, or Trump has more firing to do.
