What's the difference between a Lightning tip and a Zap? Not a whole lot. Zaps are Lightning tips that interact with Nostr, that's it. If you want your Lightning tip to be tallied, counted, and displayed on Nostr, you need a Zap compatible Lightning wallet. Here they are:

correct. in your profile look for a lightning address line and add it. your lightning address looks like an email address. it's not an invoice. 😉

Oh cool, thank you. Hopefully breez, phoenix or blixt can sort out lightning addresses soon so it's non custodial. I guess I can just forward them to my other wallet.

There's non custodial options but they require a domain and some technical effort.
