Oh, this is such a BS. Owning BTC will not make you magically a contributor to society. This is not about BTC or cost of living. If you want to contribute, you need to be an entrepreneur. And when you are, BTC does not matter. It makes some things easier and other more difficult. Fiat risks are just part of business risk set and there are about zillion risks you have to navigate. Most businesses fail, I own my share of failed companies and BTC wouldn’t help in any of the cases. The contribution to society is not based on money, that’s why BTC is totally irrelevant for this.

Oh I love this! Yes let’s do it!

Owning BTC does not magically make you a contributor to society - it frees up more of your time to allow you to choose how and where you would like to contribute. For me, it’s allowed me to step down from FT work and spend more time contributing my energy to what I really care about. So I guess to this point I am my own POW.

And you definitely do not need to be an entrepreneur to contribute to society.

Proof: Every time someone gets paid for their work—without being their own boss—it means they provided value someone was willing to exchange resources for.

You don’t need to be a boss to contribute value.

I also have my share of financially successful business ventures , and failures. I appreciate how the market lets me know what’s working and what isn’t. And I actually want more of that in the Global Free Market. Less bailouts, less hypocrisy and more honest competition.

Although our contribution to society is not based on money, the more affordable our needs are - food water shelter, the more free we are to contribute in ways that truly light us up.

It’s up to each individual to decide what that is. I think that’s the whole point.

I read once that money (wealth) brings out in a man what was already there and I believe that cld be true. 🤷‍♀️ I know for myself, my plan to build out an animal rescue farm gets more attainable each year, the longer I’m in the Global Free Market. That’s pretty amazing!

This convo simply highlights our difference of opinion, views, thoughts? I appreciate you, and respectfully still stand by my words. Why? Because I believe in them and my experience matches them. 🙏

Sorry for late reply, but I am afraid I don’t agree. In my experience, there are two types of people. Employees and entrepreneurs. But this is not the type of contract, but mindset. Most employees do work, earn money, but don’t contribute to society. BTC is perfect for them, because it enables them to cash in profits without contributions. It makes BTC useful, because employee mindset thinks in money.

On the other hand, entrepreneur mind thinks in product. And that’s why BTC is irrelevant. It might be useful as a tool, similar as chainsaw for example. If it fits, it fits. But switching to BTC or owning BTC does not do anything by itself for entrepreneur.
