good morning 🌞

last night I knit very late into the evening because I started a prototype for Bitcoin socks. thick, cozy, warm, wool socks.

since it's a prototype, it looks a mess right now. Most of the parts are good but I realized I had knit the whole design upside down. whoops.

It's all part of the process. When creating things, usually they are bad at the start before they get good.

some things are best knit by hand since there isnt a machine that is affordable and versatile enough to do the creative stuff that I want to do.

that said, I do have a couple hand operated knitting machines that I've acquired and used over the years. they're pretty fun!

Yea, I got big addi for Christmas to crank with kids. I was hyped, but there's quite a learning curve to it! We made a few tunnels/hats, but there's a LOT I must learn to actually be able to use it well.
