Have any good takes on MicroStrategy Orange, DID, and "orange checks", etc.? That's what we'll be discussing on tomorrow's Bitcoin Panel Livestream at 4PM Eastern.

my wife works for a fortune 500 that uses micro strategy.

She went to the conference last year and as a #Bitcoin ‘er came away with the thought that micros strategy was going to use their stack to do exactly what light spark is doing with commercial lightning.

To think Saylor was amassing a giant stack to do nothing but HODL with it is naïve.

Personally, I believe if we do believe a DID is and will be needed.

I’m open to be convinced otherwise.

It's enterprise software that uses the Bitcoin blockchain to anchor the public key portion of a public-private key pair.

The keys can then be used to sign emails, documents, etc, to bootstrap identity attestation, within an organisation.

In many ways, it's quite similar to how identity has evolved on Nostr.

Makes sense, thank you 🙏🏻

Might be worth having a look at Daniel Buchner's work, also.

He was working on a Bitcoin native decentralised identity platform at Microsoft, long before MicroStrategy had entered the Bitcoin space...
