#Bitcoin doesn't fix everything. It's a great start though.

What else you think make a progress?
Blasphemy! š¤ lol jk. But would love to hear you expand that. Like what doesnāt it specifically fix?
Really anything that's not tied directly to finances.
An ear of corn could fix a broken heart.
Money doesn't buy happiness.
But #Bitcoin can bring you happiness⦠šš«

I agree but I also asked ChatGPT if money can buy happiness, and I get not so short answer...
"The question of whether money can buy happiness is a subject of much debate and research in psychology and economics. While there is no clear consensus on the answer, there are some general findings that can shed light on the topic.
Studies have found that there is a positive correlation between income and subjective well-being up to a certain point. Beyond a certain income threshold, additional income does not appear to lead to significant increases in happiness. This threshold varies depending on the country, culture, and individual circumstances, but is generally considered to be around $75,000 to $95,000 per year in the United States.
However, it is important to note that the relationship between money and happiness is complex and influenced by many factors beyond just income. For example, the way money is spent can have a significant impact on happiness. Spending money on experiences (such as travel, hobbies, or social activities) has been found to be more likely to lead to long-term happiness than spending money on material possessions. Additionally, the social context in which money is earned and spent (such as social support networks and social inequality) can also affect happiness.
Ultimately, while money can provide access to resources and opportunities that can contribute to happiness, it is not a guarantee of happiness. Other factors such as personal relationships, health, and purpose in life also play important roles in overall well-being."

Thatās true. I keep thinking about culture though. Costa Rica, Uruguay, New Zealand are all examples of societies I think with a united, relaxed, people first culture. Where as in USA and Canada we are more divided and individualistic. Can bitcoin fix this?
I was in Uruguay for seven months last year so Iām happy to hear you saying this. I need to check out Costa Rica and New Zealand next. I wonder if Canada and the USA are just too damn big for cohesion?
Costa Rica is an amazing country. Their coffee is superb, and often under rated.
New Zealand is an absolute bucket lister. I have got to get there soon, badly.

How so?
I do agree on the fact that Bitcoin doesnāt fix everything ā”ļøš¤
but everything is fucked because the money is broken right? Price signals, future planning, trade, it's all distorted by fake money.
I think a lot of the things Bitcoin doesn't fix will begin to heal via second order effects due to bitcoins impact.
This is a good way of looking at it. Indirectly, as a result of going back on a hard money standard, many unrelated industries will be affected as a result.
Money doesnāt bring happiness..
And if #Bitcoin isnāt able to resurrect āHal Finneyā or my idol āSassamanā, it would still have given me full control of my own livelihoodā¦
