Oh! Apparently these are called "Workforce Planning Boards" in Ontario. 😁
A lot of Canadian cities have gov funded employment related organizations that do employment related data collection, training, placement, recruiting etc. They often have local job boards.
For example:
https://toronto.peopleatwork.ca/job-seekers/ (Toronto)
https://workforcedevelopment.ca/#local-job-hub (London)
They often have "workforce" in the name.
