Is pretty complicated isnt it?

The story is much simpler for the vendor if they receive via a custodian (cashu, fedimint or custodial lightning) and periodically withdraw to on-chain or self-soverign lightning. Plus the fees would be lower.

I don't like it but unless the vendor has bills to pay in bitcoin or is buying fiat with it they have no way of balancing their lightning channels.
