I held bitcoin on chain, if that is what you are asking. But I was not an enthusiast. From the start (and I was aware of digital cash research long before bitcoin - David Chaum's work) I very much expected the government(s) to shut the whole thing down so I never bought in, even though I'm a libertarian and loved the idea..... until 2021 at which point I got a Cold Card and hammered my seed phrase into metal plates split between safes.
