Yes, this is a serious overlooked truth. We are rarely encouraged to be good to ourselves and/or to love ourselves.
Another question: If you receive a zap, is it cool to thank the person or is that just not a thing on here? What's the deal?
In the beginning I gave thanks when I could, however those who use tor, doing their best to stay anon, it got a little difficult to give thanks, other times I just keep a look out for a reason to #zap back. Some days it feels like "leave a penny, take a penny". I haven't done it in a while, but I have posted a note expressing my gratitude for any and all Zaps before.
