Basically. There’s BSD too but the main difference between them seems to be in the license (despite software not being split evenly along those lines
Technically, the code base is different because BSD is a fork of Unix and Linux is a "clone" of Unix. Linux is a complete rewrite that functionally mimics Unix.

Idk why everyone hates on Bitcoin UX. I find the UX for the Bitcoin software I use (Sparrow, Zeus, Muun) to be quite good. Even in comparison to a lot of legacy big tech I’m forced to interact with on occasion.
