here are some basics:

bitchat is designed with a primarily text-based interface, so you can do most things by typing a "/" followed by the command.

as an example, typing "/clear" will clear the messages

you can change your name by tapping it in the top left corner

you can see other people in the network in the top-right, tap it to see more info, and tap a user to start DMing them

you can also use the star button to favourite someone, and talk to them over the internet through nostr when no longer in range*

this will automatically switch back to using bluetooth when in range

in order to make the app work, be sure that bluetooth is on, and that bitchat has been granted permissions
