i prefer to be present with the world around me and i only take my phone with me when i need to find a new place. once i find it, i can go back there without the map.
I'm constantly stuck twisting myself into a pretzel to test things on my phone. But every time I get lazy about that, we need another hotfix. 😂
i don't think you need to keep up with amethyst tho, isn't your app a web app?

Amethyst is actually one of the few apps that implements some of my favorite kinds.
And our app works reaonably well on mobile. We work very hard on that and there will eventually be a PWA and a native version.
It's okay. #Nostr has been quite dead today. 🫂💜

At least it made it to my feed. That’s already more excitement and visibility than I got for Haven release. It’s just part of life that clients are more exciting for the average person than relays and other backend stuff. Plus Amethyst undeniable and by definition has way more users than all of our stuff combined.
The good news is that we all win together :)

Agreed, this is a major release. And it’s actually very hard infrastructural work “for the betterment of Nostr”; technical stuff that’s difficult to communicate to end users. Vitor and the Amethyst devs are doing a tremendous job.
Plus, it helps all of us. Folks will finally start fetching notes from The Forrest and the Haven relays out in the wild for once :).
In terms of visibility on Nostr, trust me, it sucks to be me even more. Even your dev profile gets “Nostr Influencer” levels of interaction compared to my main one 🤣. And I know other devs working way harder than I am who are even less visible than me. Hopefully Amethyst’s new release will be part of the long-term fix.
Yeah, I try to dig devs up and promote them, when I see them struggling for visibility. Tough out there.
