What was the reason for choosing this distribution over others like Fedora Silverblue or Debian? (Arch Architecture, Gaming,…)

The install process is very straightforward. It looks good out of the box. It still does not install a ton of stuff that I don't need.

I want to explore the arch flavor of Linux, and this seems like the most straightforward way to do so for me at my current level of Linux ability.
