It's been a while since the last OS update, but the apps are receiving regular updates 🤙
Cuz clearnet is in beta testing right now and is a complete over haul from docker to lxc. It'll be cool when it's out.

Have you applied any updates yet and if so how did it go?
Been a while but yes i have installed multiple updates
as long as it is FOSS and you are your own server. It doesn't matter.
Some on the list do not meet these criteria
Tried them all:
-Umbrel: quickly dropped because I read several articles where it was not as secure as others, for BTC this is important
-raspiblitz can't remember why stopped, could have been HW issues
-RoninDojo awesome whilst Whirpool worked, robust. BTC only, very focused. Will come back to it soon.
-Start9 is awesome, as soon as clear net is out of testing will become my main server.
-Mynode is the underdog. Has been running for years without looking after it. Poor thing only gets a click now and then for updates, unloved in the corner, but keeps doing its job year after year on a basic RPi4 8gb
I would say go for Mynode if BTC only and want easy interface. Ronin for a punk style, and Start9 for BTC and general self hosting of photos files etc.
