It was a figure of speech. No amount of violence and murder is acceptable. Especially against children. And that scale it’s hard to even imagine, be it 30k or 300k.

I completely agree with you. But you didn't answer my question: Why did you decide that the calculation error was insignificant? I think you made a premature conclusion. In order to talk about a big or small error, you need to know two quantities: the erroneous number and the real number. The difference between these numbers is what we qualify as significant or insignificant. We know the erroneous number, but we don't know the real number. Without the real number, we can't calculate the difference and, therefore, can't conclude how big our mistake was. Until we can objectively make a conclusion, any judgment we make on this matter will be premature. Do you understand me?
