Ok, so here's how I'm thinking single-click Zaps will work (*if enabled in your NostrGram settings*):

Disabled: Works as usual. Clicking the ⚡ icon opens up the zap pop-up.

Enabled: Clicking the ⚡ icon begins a 5 second countdown before the default amount is sent. If you click the icon again before the countdown finishes, it cancels the zap and opens up the Zap dialog.

That way no second icon is needed and it's easy to send a custom amount if you want to.

Hey can you give zap ⚡️ buttons a unique url for each note?

I don't understand the question. Zaps, like all LN payments, create unique invoice urls.

Trying to figure a way to embed zap buttons into jpegs, websites and double tap to zap ⚡️

Ah, gotcha. That's an interesting idea. I'll have to give that some thought.

Happy to jump in a nest to better articulate, ping me whenever!

Yeah I think that sounds reasonable. I'm down to test that.

sounds good and five seconds is reasonable for retractions

Thoughts:

A second icon seems more discoverable than this.

People seem to value speed when making zaps, 5 seconds of waiting is an eternity.

⚡⚡

5 seconds doesn't equate to a zap ⚡️more like a zzz 😴

Do you need to wait?

Just keep scrolling.

No you won't have to wait.

That's only true if you had to wait for it -- you don't. Just keep scrolling and it will send after the 5 seconds is up.
