Yeah you don’t need to run a node to interact with Nostr nor to make LN payments. Just use a custodial wallet and off you go.

Sure. I use Muun Wallet.
But now that I think about it, if you just want to send and receive a few sats then try Wallet of Satoshi. They give you a free Lightning Address, it’s like an email address that you can put in your profile settings, and it allows you to easily receive sats. It’s not custodial though, so don’t store many sats there just in case, use Muun Wallet for that.
